		The median income for a household in the county is $26,622, and the median income for a family is $32,086.

		The township derived its name from the heavy growth of excellent timber, poplar, walnut and other varieties, and the fertility of its soil, which qualified it for the operations of husbandmen, and not, perhaps from the " fig leaf attire " of its original inhabitants, the red men.
		Jesse Edgington was married, November 27, 1834, to Charlotte Koontz, a native of Franklin County, Penn., and daughter of Abraham and Susanna (Shrader) Koontz, natives of Pennsylvania, and of Dutch parentage.
		Lambright was married in December, 1856, to Maria Bowlby, of this township, and native of Somerset County, Penn., daughter of James and Sarah Bowlby, natives of Jersey and Pennsylvania respectively.

	Vevay Township History, Ingham County, Michigan
		In 1836 the emigration into the interior of Michigan was so great that we counted in one day over sixty wagons; it was almost a continuous string of teams, each carrying a family and their entire possessions.
		After the county election in 1838 (the first after organization), it was provided that the board of county canvassers should meet to canvass the votes at the county-seat, or at the nearest house thereto.
		Charles THAYER and Co., the proprietors of the land on which the seat of justice for Ingham County had been located, built a log house at the locality, but it was never occupied for dwelling purposes, and the hopes of the projectors of the "county-site" were destined to be dashed to the earth.

	Armada Township Michigan History
		In the compilation of the histories of the townships, care has been taken to exclude all descriptions which have been fully dealt with in the general history of the county.
		The township of Armadia, or Armada, was organized under a legislative enactment, approved April 22, 1833, lying off from the surveyed townships, Town 5 north, Ranges 13 and 14 east of the meridian, and ordering the first township meeting to be held at the house of Edmund Stewart the first Monday in April, 1834.
		It is on the Michigan Air-Line Railway, and is the center of a prosperous farming region.

	Eden Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin
		There are several large springs in Eden, and several lakes, in which fish and waterfowl, in season, are abundant.
		The lake in which the branch of Milwaukee River takes its rise, flowing nearly south, has another outlet on the north, which flows into Lake Winnebago; and streams in the south part find their way into the Gulf of Mexico, through Rock and Mississippi Rivers.
		The town of Eden is settled largely by a fine class of Irish in the south, though Dutchess County New Yorkers, Germans and some New Englanders form important elements in the population.
