An insider said the college was in "advanced talks" with AMA over the purchase of Evolution House, which has won plaudits in contests run by bodies such as the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Scottish Civic Trust.

Edinburgh College of Art was established in 1907after the Town Council of Edinburgh had invited the Scottish Education Department to establish and maintain a School of Art in 1906.

As a DJ, she spun the platters that matter on the wheels of steel and her zeitgeist–defining blend of punk, hip–hop and dance won her regular slots at Heaven, Turnmills and the Fridge at the peak of the indie–dance crossover.
