		Meadowlark is in the west end of Edmonton near West Edmonton Mall, the biggest mall in the world.
		Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta so it is a big city.
		West Edmonton Mall has lots of stores, movie theaters, a waterpark, Galaxyland, an Imax theater, a mini-golf course and driving range, a skating rink, and many restaurants.

		Meadowlark was opened as part of Jasper Place School Division in 1958 and became part of the Edmonton Publc School Division when Jasper Place was annexed by the City of Edmonton.
		Meadowlark was at one time an Elementary Junior High with an enrolment of over 600 students.

	SNN Student Magazine - December 2002 - Wrap a Gift for Giving
		Meadowlark School is helping less fortunate people by doing a fun activity called “Wrap-a-Gift-for-Giving Contest”.
		Students from Meadowlark School participate in this project every year to help less fortunate children by decorating the top of a box to win a prize, and putting non-perishable foods inside.
		Before coming to Meadowlark, she already started this contest in Mayfield School.
