  Future Positive : Welcome
Edward Haskell is one of the least known of the synergic scientists whose ideas and works are presented throughout the UnCommon Sense—Library.
Haskell recognized that the Neutral class of relationships, in and of itself, was of equal importance to both the Adverse class of relationships, and the Synergic class of relationships.
Haskell did not study or analyze human relationships, but he predicted that the PCS would be useful in anlyzing adversary, neutral, and synergic relationships between humans and groups of humans, and finally.

Art/Museums: Edward Steichen at the Whitney Museum and Joanna Steichen's book, "Steichen's Legacy"   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-15)
Edward Steichen is photography's greatest artist as this large retrospective exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art clearly shows.
To many, his greatest achievements, of course, are his early Tonalist works, which were very important in elevating photography into a fine art form, and his celebrity portraits that stylistically used strong shadows and unusual angles to highlight his subjects and would have enormous influence on all subsequent fashion and art photography.
Steichen's wartime photographs and those of the units he would oversee "offer reassuring human interest views of military teamwork," Haskell dryly noted, adding that "their affirmative vision testified to Steichen's faith in the power of community and human cooperation," but not to the horror of war.

Haskell and his co-workers developed a number of important insights, each building upon the preceeding:
The most positive state is the one in which both parties have a positive action, resulting in maximum organisation, symbiosis (here taken as a generic term for all the levels of evolution, not just the biological) and mutual evolution (ultimately to omega (of Teilhard) or godhead).
Haskell and his coworkers also plotted human societies in the same way, although I find the formualtion somewhat simplistic (human history and technology does not develop in a strictly linear manner, for taht matter neither does biological evolution).
