William Corydon Edwards was born on a farm in Tioga county, Pennsylvania, April 12, 1853, the son of David Griffith Edwards, a farmer born in Wales in 1816; came to the United States in 1836 and located on the farm in Tioga county, Pennsylvania (on which the subject was born), where he died in 1879.
William C. Edwards has not only been prominent in the banking, political and railway affairs of the State of Kansas, but he is also prominent in the fraternal and religious circles of his adopted city and state.
Edwards was born in Tioga county, Pennsylvania, Dec. 21, 1855, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and is prominent in the social and religious life of Wichita.

William Edwards Deming, Ph.D. October 14, 1900 - December 20, 1993) was an American statistician, widely credited with improving production in the United States during World War II.
However, Deming is perhaps best known for his work in Japan; where from 1950 onward he taught top management the principles of Statistical process control (SPC) a forerunner of Total quality management (TQM).
Edwards Deming taught that by adopting appropriate principles of management, organizations can increase quality and simultaneously reduce costs (by reducing waste, rework, staff attrition and litigation while increasing customer loyalty).

It is suggested in some documents including in the book 'Edward's Legacy' by David Dean Edwards (1992), that it was whispered among some Tudor researchers that Agnes was mistress to King Henry VIII of England and that the son RICHARD was fathered by King Henry and not by William.
Edwards' importance as a playwright is that he instigated the basing of the English tragedy on the Latin classical model.
Edwards also compiled the influential 'Paradyse of Dainty Devises' (published posthumously, 1576), a collection of minor poets of the 1560's and 70's.

 My Edwards Family
David Edwards married Lydia --- (no clue on her maiden name) and they had only three children, and they apparently separated in the 1820's and were divorced in 1831.
I've never found any direct proof, but I believe that Barnabas is the father of William Edwards, born ca 1826 in Wayne Co, NC (mainly because William named his oldest son "Barnabas" and that the elder Barnabas did have a son William's age, per the 1830 census).
William and Rachel were the parents of Gabriel E. Edwards (1849-1938) who married first Louisa Floyd, and 2nd, Celia C. Johnson in Horry Co, SC.
