		It starts out with a B-grade horror movie processional banged out on toy piano leading into evil guitar riffs and requiem-mass vocals that should satisfy the funeral junkies out there, perfect for listening to while applying the eyeliner for a night out on the corpse...

	Von Dooms
		The Von Dooms are a horror punk/psychotronic schlock band from Virginia.
		The Von Dooms have been creepin' around since 99, and have had a cassette release called "From Beyond" out on Reanimator Records, and are now signed with Valiant Death Records, where they have released the CD "I'll Be Lurking For You".
		The Von Dooms seek to bring their vision of cosmic horror punk to the world, and to aid the Great Old Ones, ancient, cosmic beings of immense power and evil who dwell far beyond time and space.

	SAMHAIN
		Eerie grew up in Lodi, NJ and graduated from Lodi High School in 1982 with Steve Zing and Doyle of The Misfits.
		Eerie was originally in Samhain as the drummer, but later changed to bass replacing Al Pike.
		Eerie followed Glenn to Danzig, but got fired after recording the 4th album, just before recording of the 5th started Eerie went on to solo and group projects.

	CD REVIEW - Eerie Von – "Bad Dream No. 13" : Legends Magazine, Issue 153
		Eerie Von has been involved in the music underground for quite some time.
		Percussion is muted and boring, though Eerie's voice is powerfully commanding here while extolling stoner rock lyrics and creed.
		I didn't find myself interested in it much overall and considering the status of an underground player like Eerie Von with all his past work, I'm extremely surprised at the lack of technical merit, forethought and excitement that I would have otherwise expected here.

		After this came SAMHAIN which was still in the punk vain even covering old Misfits songs!, but they added a more eerie sublime element possibly due to the bass player, Eerie Von, who was actually the photographer for the Misfits.
		They went on to do 4 albums together but around the eventual UK release date of their last album together there were tensions regarding Chuck which resulted in Joey Castillo taking over the sticks.
		Eerie Von has done " Eerie Von's Uneasy Listening " (w/ Mike Morance), and is releasing a new album next month; "The blood and the body".

		The brainchild of Eerie Von and Post Mortem, Rosemary’s Babies were everything the Lodi Music Scene came to represent: loud, fast, angry and aggressive.
		Eerie went on to play in Samhain and Danzig as well as a prolific solo career.
		In 2003, Eerie and Post had a conversation and decided to dust off the old Rosemary’s Babies reel-to-reel tapes, spending months re-mastering all of the old sessions.

		Bio: During his time in the seminal hardcore band the Misfits, vocalist Glenn Danzig displayed a fascination with outlandish, graphic, often gory imagery; in forming the more heavy metal-oriented band Samhain, Danzig's lyrics delved into typical metal subject matter, but took the concept of darkness to an extreme.
		After the demise of Samhain, Danzig formed his own eponymous band with Samhain guitarist John Christ, ex-Rosemary's Babies drummer Eerie Von on bass, and longtime hardcore drummer Chuck Biscuits (D.O.A. Black Flag, Circle Jerks); this band would prove a more effective vehicle for Danzig's obsession with the dark side.
		While that obsession can seem cartoonish at times, there is more to the band than meets the eye -- Danzig obviously relishes casting himself as the menacing, evil heavy metal frontman, and his theatricality often seems to indicate that his posturing is not meant to be taken very seriously.

		Naturally, Von kicks off with a bold mission statement: "Sigur Ros", which is purposefully stagnant and entirely too long.

	Danzig CD
		Big-time fans of Danzig's work were the members of Metallica, who constantly sported shirts of Danzig's bands past and present, sparking widespread interest for his 1988 major label debut, simply titled DANZIG.
		Rounding out the band was Samhain bassist Eerie Von, ex-Black Flag/Circle Jerks drummer Chuck Biscuits, and newcomer John Christ on guitar.
		While the music and subject matter of the Misfits and Samhain relied on comic book horror and cacophony, DANZIG showed that Glenn had brought in elements of blues rock, plodding Black Sabbath-esque metal, and Jim Morrison-like vocals, while the lyrics seemed to rely on two themes: women and religion.
