		Egwene al'Vere is one of the main characters of the Wheel of Time fantasy series by Robert Jordan.
		Egwene took former Amyrlin Siuan Sanche as her advisor and has been slowly breaking the Salidar Hall of the idea that she can be controlled, especially when she taught them Traveling, a Talent she had rediscovered without any form guidance or assistance whatsoever.
		Egwene and Rand severed their romantic ties in The Shadow Rising, and today Rand has his harem and Egwene is enamored of Gawyn Trakand, Elayne's older brother.

		By the same line while Egwene is very similar Gwenevere she isn't exactly Gwen and as Rand is very similar to Arthur he isn't him, and as such our historical/legendary/mythical knowledge doesn't necessarily apply.
		Egwene might also be one of those to help him redisover what he has lost, but I don't think it will be as his wife/lover.
		Elayne will be more acceptable to this considering Egwene is her best friend (aside from her first-sister Aviendha) and Gawyn is her full brother.
