		Of course, this is assuming that Crichton's use of the word "rape", in the first part regarding his recap of his experience with the Peacekeepers, was intentional by the writers.
		I guess that once the Eidolons are retrained in their peace-influencing abilities, they'll help keep things stable and maybe restore the Peacekeepers to their original role, where the name actually meant something.
		I'm assuming that Rebecca Riggs was actually pregnant and had it written into the script, since there didn't seem to be any real story point to it (her token "for our children" thing at the end wasn't substantial enough to count).

		The most irritating aspect of viewing Farscape for me is, hands down, listening to the dialog, which is overloaded with what might be called "anachronisms", except that the term "anachronism", as its etymology (word history) shows, implies a misplacement of something in time.
		Eidolon Pikal literally opens up (his head) to reveal inner eyes (all blue, naturally) which he calls "antennæ", as does the high priestess in part II, if I recall correctly.
		My conclusion, from all that I have seen is that Farscape is pure, unadulterated "science" fantasy, which its adherents "get off on" as just that.

		The Farscape universe is a blank slate; they can delve into the scarran/peacekeeper situation if they want, have isolated adventures, or simply start a new plot arc.
		The Eidolons didn't impose a peace from without; rather, they simply made the parties less aggressive and more amenable to reason, enabling them to be more willing to find peaceful solutions from within.
		Probably the Eidolons will have to keep hovering around the leaders for a while to help keep them on a psychologically even keel, but once they get used to thinking in such non-confrontational terms, an enduring peace will become more likely even without a constant Eidolon presence.

		Farscape was more an experience then a show for me. They never ignored the personal emotional side to it.

		Loose threads were tied up, the action scenes were incredible, the characterization was spot on if you consider how the characters have evolved since the beginning of the show, and it was epic.
		Yes, there were two references to this, the first when a villain (the Scarran xo, I believe,) mentioned being disgusted that humans and sebaceans could produce offspring, and then the eidolon revealing to Aeryn the true origin of the Peacekeepers, and thus the sebaceans.
		But, if there is never any more Farscape this was a FAR better resolution than we were left with.
