Eire Óg’s ability to capitalise on their scoring opportunities was a vital factor in the team’s victory and the fact that they were able to secure goals at vital stages was another important factor.
Eire Óg went further ahead when their sharpshooter, John Malone, scored a point from play and one from a free and things were looking good for them as their defence was coping well with Ballymartle’s attacking efforts as the game progressed.
