		The Seibo was largest eastern province until until December31, 1944 because it was formed by the municipalities of Seybo, Hato Mayor, Miches, Sabana de la Mar and La Romana.
		Its territory began to decrease with the creation of the province La Altagracia, on January 1, 1945, which consisted in La Romana as the head city, the municipality of Higuey and the municipal district of San Rafael Del Yuma.

		05-05-2005, 09:00 PM HOWMAR, I have been talking to a number of people here in El Seybo and they agree that the Dept of Ed should in fact teach the Spanish alphabet to the children before the first grade or at least in the first grade and that they should teach the entire alphabet.
