GW Online : Warhammer 40,000 : Eldar : Genesis of the Eldar
For me, the Eldar have been something more than just a Warhammer 40,000 race, they are more of a way of life.
We were also told of the mercenaries and pirates: bloodthirsty Eldar renegades who sell their swords to the highest bidder, famed for their treachery and callousness.
It was mentioned that it is not unheard of for a pirate leader to have a cadre of loyal troops to protect him from his own subordinates (unfortunately, it then goes on to say that their preferred choice of bodyguards are things called Zoats, which are perhaps better forgotten).

Warhammer fans will be pleased to hear that the writers managed to do justice to this particular fantasy setting by creating a plausible plot with nice character development and genuinely engaging dialogue.
All of the factions in the game (Space Marines, The Eldar, Forces of Chaos and the Orks) have been painted with great literary skill and they are all very unique and mostly ambivalent when it comes to their moral codex.
Scenes of massive battles truly are spectacular, as often identical units will fight their foes in a different fashion, creating a scene of true chaos and mayhem worthy of the bloody conflicts in the Warhammer universe.
