The movable portion of the 520 Bridge was opened by an electro-mechanical system, which was difficult to maintain and used to frequently breakdown and we re-designed that using a hydraulic lift system.
We approached this project by designing the hydraulic system base on four large hydraulic cylinders.
The modern hydraulic system offers great advantages for the designer.

 Semiannual Report
After running the electro osmosis for a period of time, the sodium acetate was added into both cathode and anode compartments as to prevent the situation of developing a high voltage from happening.
In Test 3, the solution collected at the cathode compartment was pumped to the anode compartment to neutralize the analyte and balance the hydraulic potential using a siphon.
Results show that the pH in the whole system was around 5.5 and the applied voltage only fluctuated lightly.

The ability to combine software, electronics, and electro-hydraulic controls tailored to customer needs is a key strategy as the Axiomatic and Multivisions group moves forward.
The main controller provides the control functions for the vehicle including: power for the platform controls; lift and lower functions; steering motor control; pothole safety system control; data for an hour-meter; and remote annunciation to a horn and beeper.
An EASI-networked control system is ideal for construction equipment, bucket trucks, boom and scissor lift platforms, material handling vehicles, wired crane control and other mobile equipment where the controls are located remote from the power unit.

LRTA - Technical Artical - ELECTROLYSIS FROM RAILWAY CURRENTS
If the special machine be operating a few volts higher in potential than the rest of the station, its action, to use rather an unscientific hydraulic analogy, is that of pumping the electricity out of the pipe lines, and so keeping them constantly electro-negative.
While a protective system may thus be easily made at a slight expense and completely fulfill the object for which it was designed, it is necessary to keep a close watch over its operation by means of repeated electrolytic surveys.
For this purpose it has been proposed to place an additional dynamo in the station, the negative pole of which is to be connected to the pipe lines by extra wires.

Electric and electro-hydraulic power steering systems are typically lighter and more compact than conventional hydraulic systems.
For many years, power steering technology was focused on hydraulic systems but demand is now favouring electric power steering mainly due to reduced fuel consumption and logistical benefits.
The main reasons for strong growth in electric steering, as opposed to hydraulic, is that electric systems are more economical to run, lighter, recyclable and easier to package and install.

2005 Ferrari 612 - Detailed Pricing and Specifications - MSN Autos
The 612 Scaglietti is offered with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or the next-generation F1 electro-hydraulic system that operates the clutch and changes gears when the driver flicks the paddles behind the steering wheel.
The F1 electro-hydraulic system can operate in an automatic mode, but the transmission is still a mechanical unit containing a clutch.
The 612 Scaglietti is powered by a 540-horsepower V12 engine mounted behind the front axle for a front mid-engine layout with both the transmission and the differential mounted at the rear axle to achieve a 46 percent/54 percent front/rear weight distribution.

Our engineers are working in parallel on two new technologies, the Electro-Hydraulic Brake (EHB) and Electro-Mechanical Brake (EMB) systems, both of which offer numerous advantages over conventional brake systems.
The signals from this electronic actuation unit and other sensors are conveyed to an electronic controller "by wire" which determines the ideal braking pressure and applies this to the conventional wheel brakes via a hydraulic unit.
With this system the braking force is applied directly to the wheels by electro-mechanical wheel brake modules.

 Electronic Stability Program
Electronic Stability Program (ESP), also known as Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), Electronic Skid Protection (ESP) and many other names, are electro-hydraulic systems that help control vehicles as they approach the limits of stability.
The system consists of an electronic control unit (ECU), a hydraulic control unit (HCU), an electrically driven hydraulic pump and a set of sensor s.
The ESP system then activates the brake on one or more wheels as appropriate to help prevent a skid, and more generally, to improve the feedback to the driver, and make the handling more linear.

Jackhammer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hydraulic breakers will usually use a hydraulic motor to drive a sealed pneumatic hammer system, as a hydraulic hammer would not only develop a poor striking speed but transfer unacceptable shock loads to the pump system.
While the term jackhammer is occasionally used to mean pneumatic drill, the electro-mechanical tool that performs the same function is normally the one given the jackhammer name in Britain.
The portable pneumatic jackhammer is impractical for use on walls and steep slopes as it relies on the inertia of the mass of its body to impel the bit into the work and manipulating that mass when it is not supported by the work is highly difficult.

The four most common types of power brakes are: vacuum suspended; air suspended; hydraulic booster, and electro-hydraulic booster.
A "bleeder valve" is located on each caliper to allow air bubbles to be purged from the system.
When the brake pedal is depressed and the speed of the wheel reaches or get close to locking-up, the ABS computer will then modulate the amount of brake pressure (or “pump” the brakes), as fast as fifteen times per second, on that wheel.
