When first introduced to Eledore he seems something of a goof-off and an airhead, yet when he mans the 08th MS Team's Type 74 Hover Truck he becomes a cool and collected professional who is probably better at his job than anyone else is at theirs.
Eledore aspires to be a professional song-writer, and his fixation on his preferred career sometimes overrides his sense of duty to the Federation.
Eledore also has very sensitive ears and is good at identifying individual sounds, possibly as a result of his own musical talent.
Like Karen, Eledore is a veteran member of the 08th MS Team.
As operator of the team's support hovertruck, Eledore uses his keen musician's ears and a battery of sophisticated sonar sensors to detect approaching enemies.
Elodore hopes to become a music star, and routinly listens to and writes music to help pass the time.
At first glance, Eledore seems a poor choice for a soldier.
Whether planning for his musical career, putting the moves on his teammate Karen, or just spacing out and listening to his Walkman, the 08th MS Team's hovertruck operator never seems to have his mind on his work.
But Eledore is all business whenever the team enters combat, and his keen musician's ears give him an uncanny ability to pinpoint enemy forces with the hovertruck's sonar sensors.

Both are found by their people and Shiro is taken to Earth.
He takes command of his squad composed of EledoreMassis, Karen Joshua, Michel Ninorich and Terry Sanders.
It takes a while for Shiro to get used to fighting in an Earth battleground, the gravity, the flora and fauna and the natural obsticles are all new to him.

Karen is the longest serving member of the 08th MS Team, and has no patience for any of the teams mistakes, and is quick to judge the Commander until he proves himself worthy.
A musician at heart, Eledore entered the war for really no reason.
After the surgery, Eledore leaves the 08th MS Team to go into a hospital to recover.
Miller's Report also has a lot of new footage, and it introduces a new character that was not seen in the seires, Alice Miller, an Earth Federation investigator sent to assist in the court martial of Shiro Amada and to determine if there was a Zeon spy in the 08th Team.
A new scene where EledoreMassis comes back to the 08th Team after his leave of absence is also included, and the 08th Team is also shown being given the orders and launching for the mission they would be on in episode nine.
Miller's Report ties episodes eight and nine together, which had felt a little disjointed before.

Upon arriving in Southeast Asia, Shiro takes command of the 08th MS Team of the Kojima Battalion.
In addition to Michel and Sanders, the team is made up of pilot Karen Joshua and hovertruck operator EledoreMassis, and is equipped with three pre-production Gundam mobile suits designed for ground combat.
At first, the inexperienced Shiro has difficulty earning the respect of his teammates and fighting in the jungle environment.
