	Korn (album)
		Korn is arguably the album most responsible for the rise of nu metal.
		While Follow the Leader is commercially the band's most successful album, Korn has proven the most influential, influencing later nu metal bands such as Limp Bizkit, and even more established bands, such as Sepultura and Machine Head.
		While these elements have been copied by other bands, the album includes elements that are unique to Korn, including scat type vocals on "Ball Tongue", and the use of bagpipes on "Shoots and Ladders", a song whose lyrics comprise mostly of nursery rhymes.

		The album ends on the closer "Live With..." A fitting fade to one of the finest hip-hop albums I've heard in a long time.

		Well it was the '70s, and even if the resulting albums were mostly pretty awful, the devoted fans still bought them.
		There's no doubting that Howe is an accomplished guitarist, and on this album he turns his hand to folk, classical, jazz and blues stylings with equal dexterity.
		Pacific Haze and Westwinds are pleasing jazz work-outs, with echoes of the early Yes albums, and the folky strains of A Drop In The Ocean makes for a suitably elegiac finale.

		By combining elements of rock, electronic, ambient, good ol' jamming and, believe it or not, even classical, the Brothers have created quite an eclectic disc.
