Ellesmere Port and Neston is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
It was formed on April 1, 1974 by the merger of the borough of Ellesmere Port and Neston urban district.

Ellesmere Port is an industrial town in the district of Ellesmere Port and Neston, Cheshire, England, situated in the south of the Wirral Peninsula on the estuary of the River Mersey, to the north of Chester.
The Manchester Ship Canal joins the Mersey estuary north-west of Ellesmere Port at Eastham, but the town is also the northern terminus of the Shropshire Union Canal (which used to exchange goods with sea-going boats at what is now the boat museum).
Ellesmere Port was nearly included into the Merseyside borough of Wirral when that was formed in 1974.

The Borough of Ellesmere Port and Neston extends across the southern part of the Wirral peninsula from the Mersey to the Dee, covering 33 square miles and having a population of around 81,200.
Ellesmere Port is the largest urban area and stands where the Manchester Ship Canal and the Mersey are joined by the Shropshire Union Canal.
Neston's commercial history dates from the 16th century, but the growth of Ellesmere Port really began in 1894 with the opening of the Manchester Ship Canal.
