The Epiphany Cathedral at Elokhovo, Moscow is the vicarial church of the Moscow Patriarchs.
The original church at the village of Elokhovo near Moscow was built in 1722-31 for the tsaritsa Praskovia Ivanovna.
Upon destruction of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in the 1930s, the chair of Moscow patriarchs was moved to Elokhovo, as it was the only church in Moscow capable of allocating large crowds of people.
