Known to many as the Folk Mother, Else Christensen is one of the very few people who can rightly be called a legend in their own lifetime.
Else is maybe best known for her pioneering work with the incarcerated and it is probably true to say that every single incarcerated Odinist has heard of Else and many hundreds have had written contact with her.
As well as her direct correspondence and contact Else also published the Odinist magazine and was the Matriarch of the Odinist Fellowship, which was one of the first Odinist movements in Vinland.

As Else herself told our lawyer, she didn't really want to stay in a country where she was going to be hounded in such a relentless manner.
So we did not keep the INS from sending Else back to Canada (of which she is a citizen, and from which she came to the United States many years ago).
The problem is, Else doesn't know anyone in Canada, and the idea of dumping her on the wintry streets, a ready victim for wandering criminals and mishaps of other sorts, was not acceptable to us.

Clayton Christensen is taking his "disruptive technologies" theories on the road and is trying to predict what companies are at risk of missing the boat, thanks to a failure to understand the impact of disruptive technologies.
Christensen also explains why the Oracle-PeopleSoft battle is really a reaction to disruptive technologies.
When older workers are let go and things stop working properly, then the company will go through a cycle of "outsourcing", "acquisition", or whatever else, shuffle a lot of people, dismantle and re-mantle systems, then the next generation of gullible young workers who built the new system chase the mirage of job security.
