Embrace come from the Leeds–Huddersfield–Bradford area in the north of England, and to date have released four studio albums and one singles album.
However, the sales for their subsequent releases, Drawn from Memory (2000) and If You've Never Been (2001) were disappointing and the band were dropped by Hut Records in 2002.
They were signed by the Independiente label and produced a successful comeback album Out of Nothing, which reached number 1 in the UK in 2004.

I read on the Embrace msg board that Austin the night before got the same setlist, except "My Weakness Is None of Your Business" instead of "Keeping", which in Dallas was dedicated to drummer Mike who always wants to play it.
Embrace were fantastic, I didn't make the trek to Dallas but I saw them at Stubb's the night before.
Its the one song that made me actually like embrace in the first place, back in 1997 when they seemed like just another generic britpngop indie great white hope, that song really touched me and realised they might actually be quite good.
