Emery and Carbon Counties lie within Castle Valley, which is located in the east central part of the State of Utah.
One of these, pertinent to Emery County, was the call he made in 1849 for a group of "Saints" to go south and colonize the Sanpete Valley.
The county court was the principal county governing and administrative body under the government of the Territory of Utah.

PRICE — On Nov. 5, the Colorado Division of Wildlife (CDOW), in partnership with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR), trapped a Canada lynx (Lynx canadensis) south of the town of Emery in Emery County, Utah.
Utah's mountains have been known to support lynx historically, so other lynx may inhabit the state.
The lynx trapped Nov. 5 in Emery County was a sub-adult male, weighing 23 pounds.

It seems, based on their behavior, that Utah Lt. Governor's office is helping Diebold to cover up the evidence of a fraudulent sale of used voting machines to Utah and is giving Diebold access to voting machine warehouses in order to hide the evidence.
Utah's former voting systems could be used in upcoming Utah elections, and all HAVA requirements still met, by placing one Diebold e-ballot touchscreen in each polling location for the disabled to use if they choose to.
Utah can defer the requirement to meet HAVA for two years by simply making a request to the Justice Department like Connecticut did.
