		Orpha Frey, who is house mother at Morse hall, Kansas State Teachers college at Emporia, Kansas; his daughter, Marjorie Frey of Winterset; and three brothers, Ed Frey of Newton and Otto and Emil Frey of Lorimor.
		Charles Frey, son of Jacob Peter and Katherine Frey, was born in Genesco, Illinois, January 17, 1869 and departed this life at the Winterset hospital on May 23, 1936 aged 69 years, 4 months and 6 day.

		Freund’s seven-minute Notturno is a timeless evocation of the stillness and mystery of night while Schulthess’ 15-minute set of variations, whose essential tonality is always questioned by elements of chromaticism, builds solidly toward an impressively powerful finale.
