The booklet for the album with illustrations and music-comics was created by Emil Schult with additional drawings by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider.
The cover artwork by Emil Schult showed the stylized image of a 1930's radio, and inside was an image of a broadcast antenna with the lyrics and radioactive stickers.
Emil Schult again contributed to the lyrics and the artwork.

Schult, who worked simultaneously with various aspects of the visual arts (painting, photography, cinema) was also a musician, and became especially influential in the visual conception and artistic identity of Kraftwerk, from the album covers to the format of the concerts.
Emil already had created the cover of the German version of "Autobahn" and developed the concept for "Radioactivity." It referred to the ambiguity of the term "radioactivity," contrasting the more immediate meaning (radioactive waves) to the implicit meaning of the album's lyrics (radiophonic transmissions).
The red shirts and fl ties that were featured on the cover of the album was another one of Emil Schult's concepts, and became a trademark of the group's live performances during this period.

Schult would leave a lasting impact on the band, contributing artwork and lyrics, although he would never be accepted or photographed as a full member.
Their next album, Autobahn, made a commitment to expanding the importance of the synthesizer beyond what bands like Hawkwind, Tangerine Dream, and ELP were already doing at the time.
Emil Schult is also credited on the record.

Emil was born in Düsseldorf, but had spent some time at school in the States.
Bendit had been a spokesman for the student riots in Paris "May Revolution" in 1968.
In the beginning Schult's involvement was just a musical one, becoming a regular visitor to their studio, contributing to various jam sessions by playing guitar, flute and his home made electronic violin that had so intrigued Florian.

The LP included a "musicomic" insert of cartoons by painter Emil Schult, who had been playing electric violin live with the band.
(However, he does not feature on the album recordings.) Schult remains a collaborator of Kraftwerk's to the present day.
There were cartoons illustrating each track on the album, and another of Düsseldorf with the caption "Im Düsseldorf am Rhein, klingt es bald!", which translates literally in English as "In Düsseldorf on the Rhine, it sounds quickly" (perhaps the phrase "the sound gets around" captures the snappy feel of the maxim better).

Nor does Styron attack an ideology made of straw.
The common opinion of most Jewish scholars and writers, including Yehuda Bauer, Arthur A. Cohen, Lucy S. Dawidowicz, Emil Fackenheim, Sir Martin Gilbert, Daniel Jonah Goldhagen, Steven T. Katz, Lawrence L. Langer, Deborah E. Lipstadt, and Cynthia Ozick, is that the Holocaust was unique.
It was distinguished by the Nazi intention of totally eradicating the Jewish people, who were in this respect its unique victims — the purpose and whole reason for the Holocaust — and historically it was without precedent, without sequel.
