And while I am interested in the works of Emile Cohl, the first cartoon animator, I had access to only one passable version of FANTASMAGORIE 1907), which I understand was his first effort, and is also the first animated cartoon in the truest sense, pre-dating McCay's LITTLE NEMO by four years.
