Emily Anderson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Emily Anderson, OBE, British Foreign Office official and scholar of German, was born in March 1891 in Galway, Ireland, the daughter of Alexander Anderson, president of Queens College Galway.
Anderson was educated privately and won the Browne Scholarship in 1909 at QCG, where she received the B.A. in 1911.
Anderson resigned from her position in 1920, due perhaps to the somewhat rustic nature of UCG during that period.

Emily was seated upon a low, padded stool before an aged dressing mirror deeply cracked within it's intricately carved wood frame with a tattered, well-aged magazine laid out in her lap.
Emily stiffly rose from her chair and disappeared into the kitchen, only to return a short while later lugging a sturdy tray featuring crocks of hearty soup for both of us, crackers and a fancy, colored glass dish packed with slices of my favorite vanilla-frosted, marble cake.
Emily bent over one side of her armchair to pat fat Beatrice who was snoozing in her typical, belly-up position next to the chair and mused, "It's sort of humorous when I mull it over it in retrospect.

Emily Bezar just might be the Biggest Alternative Thing since Laurie Anderson, especially as she's one thing Anderson never claimed to be- a musician-and another that her flack sheet doesn't mention: a hell of a poet.
Emily Bezar has forged her life into creations of total artifice wholly devoid of the pretentious-although she'll be accused of being just that.
