Emperor Reizei (冷泉天皇 Reizei Tennō) (12 June 950 - 21 November 1011) was the 63rd emperor of Japan (967 - 969), according to the traditional order of succession.
Emperor Reizei was the second son of Emperor Murakami.
In 967 his father Murakami died and Reizei ascended to the throne at the age of eighteen and Sanetomo was appointed kanpaku regent to support the emperor in his illness.

Emperor Go-Reizei (後冷泉天皇 Go-Reizei Tennō) (August 28, 1025 – May 22, 1068) was the 70th imperial ruler of Japan, according to the traditional order of succession.
He was the eldest son of Emperor Go-Suzaku.
Because he had no children, after his death, his half-brother succeeded as Emperor Go-Sanjō, despite the fact that the latter's mother was not of Fujiwara descent.
