 Chronicles of Oklahoma
Oklahoma deeply misses her favorite son who meant so much in the days of her youth, but vivid recollection of his superb courage, his sublime faith and his burning affection are engraved forever on the heart of the Twin-Territories which he helped to mould into a proud American state.
Single statehood, the union of the Twin Territories made of Oklahoma City a metropolis in 1907, but the brain-child was born in 1889 in the mind of Colonel Colcord.
Oklahoma City is naming a park in his honor, but it would not be amiss to change the designation of the city to his name.

The Lessons of the Roman Empire for America Today
All over that empire, every day, pure water was brought through aqueducts that gave the ordinary Roman a larger supply of fresh pure drinking water, with all that means for hygiene, than an inhabitant of Chicago or Paris had in 1920s.
This was the age of Roman jurists like Ulpian, who founded the law of this empire on the ideals of natural law, that all men are created equal and are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
That vast empire was basically passive as long as it was left alone by the Romans, but Julius Caesar had a solution for Parthia, for the empire of Iran, and it was conquest.

 Ciudad de México.- City history
The memory of Aztlan (city-island) is expanded and consolidated based on the ancient models of Teotihuacan and Tula: the astronomical orientation of the principal avenues of the city with a ceremonial enclosure at its center.
The city sustained an intense relationship with the rest of the valley via the enormous causeways with their network of bridges and dams: to the west lay that of Tlacopan, to the south that of Xochimilco, and to the north that of Tepeyacac, as well as many bustling jetties and docks.
The city of Mexico-Tenochtitlan and the other settlements in the valley once again supported a symbiotic relationship between the rural and the urban worlds which was first defined during the Olmeca era, and which continues to the present day.
