Isaac Asimov's Galactic Empire Series - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Their main common points are Asimov's idea of a future Galactic Empire, certain aspects of technology—hyperdrive, blaster pistols, "neuronic whips", the possible invention of the "Visi-Sonor"—and particular locations, such as the planet Trantor.
Another connection was later established with Robots and Empire, where Asimov revealed how Earth became radioactive, as mentioned in The Stars, Like Dust and Pebble in the Sky.
Some contortion was required to explain how the robots of the Robot Series are almost completely absent from the Empire novels.

The Foundation Series - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The term 'Foundation Series' is often used more generally to include the Robot Series and Empire Series, which are set in the same fictional universe.
The premise of the series is that Hari Seldon has spent his life developing a branch of mathematics known as psychohistory, a concept devised by Asimov and his editor John W. Campbell.
The Foundation Series started as a series of nine short stories, eight of which were published in Astounding Science Fiction magazine (between May 1942 and January 1950) and a ninth, which was written a few years later to serve as an introduction when the series was first published in book form.

Their only common point is Asimov's idea of a future Galactic Empire, and this is barely mentioned in Pebble in the Sky.
In reality, this was due to the magazine editor Asimov worked with at the time (John W. Campbell) disliking robots in science fiction, and discouraging (maybr forbidding) Asimov from including them.

The Brittas Empire (Series 3) kicks off with our favourite bureaucrat Brittas (Chris Barrie) being accused of unspeakable murders and once again where Brittas is concerned, things go far from smoothly.
The video quality of the Brittas Empire (Series 3) is relatively clean but it is showing its age, considering the how old this comedy series but unfortunately quite a few people think that DVD is a format of perfection.
In conclusion, the Brittas Empire (Series 3) is a great romp through the 1980’s that although is a little dated (comically and visually), is still a great series that I would recommend to all lovers of British comedy.

Also, in the first series the "acquired taste" of Cam Kennedy's artwork had yet to become overdone and grating; some panels were actually rather beautiful (Leia looking at the hologram of Bodo Baas, etc.).
The only part of Empire's End that I liked was when the Emperor goes to Korriban and is taunted by the sneering ghosts of the ancient Sith.
By far the shortest of the three installments in the Dark Empire series, it is also very true to the Star Wars template....good triumphs over evil, there are some awesome space battles, and, of course, a climactic lightsaber duel.
