	Enchantment Overview
		Enchantment started off as a context-aware window manager that Ed Keyes outlined in his Enchantment Window Manager Whitepaper, but the window manager project evolved into Anduin.
		The Enchantment Whiteboard is intended to act as a streaming database, capturing the current state of some system (or person, or group) and on modest embedded hardware can support many simultaneous clients distributed across a network and hundreds of updates a second.
		The Enchantment Signal code, which also requires the enchant_ipc module, is located in the signalcore module of the CVS repository.

		Enchantment were a five-piece vocal group formed at Pershing High School in Detroit, Michigan, in 1966.

		Enchantment is a complex blend of traditional fairy tale motifs, beginning with a version of "Sleeping Beauty." Card places his comatose princess in the Ukrainian woods where she is found in the mid 1970s by ten-year-old Ivan Smetski, just as his parents are given permission to emigrate to Israel.
		One of Card's strengths in Enchantment is not the deft characterization or the flowing plot, although those are both notable, but his ability to portray the cultures of early Christian Ukraine and late-twentieth century society so differently while understanding (and showing the reader) how ingrained their beliefs are.
		While Enchantment takes advantage of all of the skills Card has shown in his recent novels (Xenocide, Pastwatch, Heartfire or Homebody), the ideas and story presented in Enchantment is among the freshest and most original idea Card has presented in several years.

	AML-List Review: Enchantment
		The leaf-covered clearing is an isolated patch of land suspended in time, with magical bridges that reach to Ivan's modern century and the early days of European Christianity that is the home of Katerina (the princess).
		The two spend time in both centuries, and the way Card contrasts the two is where this novel gets much of its enchantment (pun intended).
		Throw in the sociopathic witch Baba Yaga as the ruthless villain, who makes Hannibal Lecter look like a choir boy, and you have vintage Card storytelling at work.
