Ender's Game is a terrific read; being touching, rollicking, and insightful all at the same time.
Enders Game would have to be the firts book that I have ever read, and it has goetten me completly huked on reading.

While the flavor of the rest of the series I found to be slightly different (and I actually enjoyed the other novels more) Enders game is a must read for any sci-fi fan.

Later the GBA saw the release of Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars, an interesting game providing a deeper look into the ZOE world that enhanced people’s perception of the first game (which was lacking a consistent and well conceived plot).
The first time through the game I had barely noticed it, but when you sit and listen closely you notice that it does an excellent job of setting mood; it blends seamlessly into the gameplay.

The game itself is all-combat, divided not into levels but into over twenty quick missions, each taking place in a 3D arena populated with floating squads of enemies.
In the game, you pilot a large Mecha called an Orbital Frame, in fact a specific one called a Jehuty, a hovering, wasp-like robot with knitting needle feet and incandescent wings.
Not only to make up for the game's very short length, but to offer the smooth dynamic of the game's combat system a change to really play out in a tested medium, as there is no better player to clash swords with than your friends and fellow game enthusiasts.

In the first game, the AI was made up of mainly weak robots that could harm you with forceful rays or close-up jabs.
Unfortunately, playing through the main game only lasts around a 7 hour time limit for the average player like the first game did...but there are a number of difficulty settings for whether you're interested in taking the short road or the long one.

The biggest failing of the original Zone of the Enders was the boring mission structure and repetitive mission variety, but Konami has boosted those qualities through the roof in The 2nd Runner.
The main game is a lot of fun, but it's still on the short side at about 5 hours.
I highly recommend this one for action game afficianados and those who were by the disappointed by the original game.
