Enfield Town is a town in the London Borough of Enfield.
Enfield Town is famous for having the world's first ever cash machine or ATM, which was installed at the branch of Barclays Bank on June 27th 1967, and the world's first solid state circuitry colour televisions, which were manufactured by Ferguson at their plant in Enfield.
A disused section of the New River runs through the center of Enfield Town, where it is called the New River Loop.
