Hey these guys Engadget are bought and sold and if the almighty dollar is their cause there are lots of Apple dollars out there for them.
Engadget will quite appropriately get its name smeared and lose some readers, and I don't think it's much of a defense to tell people they should never have had any expectations of them in the first place.
Engadget not only copies stuff off other blogs but they do a lot of in the house news, which is quite unique in the blog world.

Engadget is a site that does nothing more than perpetuate rumors.
Let's say you designed this life changing device and you were very excited to unvail it to the world only to see pictures of it on engadget a month before the big announcement.
One: I don't think she "attacked" Engadget per se, but bundled them with other organizations/sites that are doing similar things.

I figured the Engadget audience would have a lot of feedback on the best projector for use with a Media PC and gaming systems in a small room, yet won't break the bank.
It's been over a year since we last took everyone's temperature on this topic, so we figured it was high time we did another Ask Engadget where we asked everyone what their next cellphone was going to be.
Could you put out an Ask Engadget on what the best Pay As You Go (GSM) network provider in the US is? I'm travelling from the UK, and tend to buy SIM cards when I'm in foreign countries, as the saving is significant.

Engadget has found their way to a beta version of TiVo Desktop 2.1 and they give it a once over.
Update: Dave Zatz, who reviewed the software for Engadget, has instructions on how to downgrade from TiVo Desktop 2.1 to 2.0 if you installed 2.1 and want to restore your ability to put your media on a device of your choice.
Engadget has been totally discredited; the sooner its owner and his 386 computer go belly-up, the better!

Another cool feature about Doppler is that you can simply type in the name of a show and it will pull it up and you can add it right there.

However, it lurched noticeably at times albeit in a convention center hall flooded with about 80 different WiFi networks.
So that means it won't work in the Engadget mansion but it should work in your largely interference free living room without a hitch.
Still, they have a few months to work out the kinks since the WiDRIVE won't be turned-out proper until July for about $95 -- Europe first, and still you gotta pony up for the disk, son.

We hate to get our hopes up, since so far we haven't seen a lot of desire from US carriers to offer advanced services to their apparently podunk customers -- especially not something crazy as mobile TV -- but the FCC just unveiled what could be Sprint's big move into TV land.
They've already been running tests on TDtv technology, a method that uses 3G spectrum for live DMB-esque TV channels up to QVGA resolution, and this SPH-M250 could be for more testing, or to maybe even launch their TV service.
We say that since you'll probably just end up losing this thing anyway, you're better off keeping your most sensitive data more tightly guarded -- like by wrapping it around your wrist.

Normally software updates for our devices go unmentioned by the Engadget team, but Sling's new version (1.1.0.153) of their SlingPlayer software commands some attention for its new features, such as doubled resolution for local streaming (640 x 240), 16:9 support, favorites bars, skins and interface tweaks, and expanded European PAL and DVB-T support.
