 Process Engineering Society
The original Food Process Engineering Society was founded in July 1997 following the graduation of the first group of Food Process Engineers from UCC.
In 2000 the department changed its name to the Department of Process Engineering with the onset of a new degree in Process Engineering from 2001 and the student society was renamed the Process Engineering Society to reflect this.
This year the society has undergone yet another name change to the Process and Chemical Engineering Society to incorporate the development of the degree to Process and Chemical Engineering.
