Knowing that the Enrique was a Bruce Springsteen fan, Interscope chairman Jimmy Iovine recommended that Enrique covered the Springsteen track Sad Eyes which had recently been released on Springsteen's collection of rare recordings Tracks.
The album debuted at 32 on Billboard 200 album chart and would go on to be certified Platinum in the US and was a success in Canada were it became 4 times Platinum and 3 times Platinum in Spain.
