Enrique Grau (December 18, 1920 - April 1, 2004) was a Colombian artist, renowned for his depictions of Amerindian and Afro-Colombian figures.
Grau was born in Panama City, Panama, and raised in Cartagena, Colombia.
Enrique Grau died in Bogotá, Colombia, at the age of 83.

Enrique Grau was born in 1920 at the American Hospital in Panama City, although his family lived in Cartagena.
While Grau's personal style was not clearly defined until about 1959, his earlier work suggests an intentional effort to modernize the visual arts of Colombia.
Grau's refined technique is marked by a firm grounding in drawing and exquisite handling of pictorial matter, resulting in part from his extensive training, which includes studies of painting and fresco at the Academy of Saint Mark in Florence.

Concurrently with the inaugural ceremony, IDB President Enrique V. Iglesias presented master artist Enrique Grau with a plaque commemorating his 58 years of professional work and collaboration with cultural activities of the IDB.
The show's curator, Félix Angel, noted that Obregón, Grau, Negret and Ramírez Villamizar had opened new paths for Colombian art, which up to the 1950s had remained largely isolated from the world's major stylistic movements.
Their break with the traditional figurative styles to embrace abstraction created an atmosphere of cultural freedom, while their exceptional talent gained respect for Colombian art in international circles, paving the way for future generations of artists.
