Topic: Enson Inoue

  Marc Scott
Inoue is renowned for the unbelievable amount of punishment he has taken in some of the latter fights of his career and for the way in which he always tried to keep fighting, eyes always firmly on the prize, and on the victory.
Enson seems like a person who stuck on a train track and watching the light of an oncoming train, doesn't jump or move out of the way but stands and waits for the train just to see if maybe he is strong enough to stop it.
Enson firmly maintains that the Shooto Commission had shown him little support and was content to see him go, as they were to concentrate less and less on the heavy weight classes, and they had an easy way of getting rid of the problem of needing to find fights for the then Champion.

Enson Inoue has filled four gyms with people who want to be a little bit more like him.
Inoue cemented his reputation as the true last samurai in that fight with Vovchanchyn, spending four days in the hospital after suffering a ruptured eardrum, cracked jaw, broken finger and a brain swollen to the point where doctors called it critical.
Inoue watched that bout on tape shortly afterward, staring in horror at the punishment the man on the screen took without quitting.
