A new website has been launched detailing Cornwall’s environment and heritage including archaeology and built heritage, biodiversity, the footpath network, land management, recreational sites and trails, environmental projects, invasive plant species and the Cornwall Record Office.

The Flora of Northern Ireland web site is aimed at allowing people to see the distribution on a 10km level of the native plants in Northern Ireland along with species descriptions and images of most of the plants.
The web site has been developed through a joint initiative between the Ulster Museum and Environment and Heritage Service.
The 10km species distribution information is based on the records collected by the Botanical Society of the British Isles vice county recorders during the Atlas 2000 Project.

 Partnerships - Tree For All
Dreadnought Wood, in Redburn Country Park, County Down, is named after one of the ships in Nelson's fleet which was captained and largely crewed by men from Ireland.
The new wood is on land made available by Environment and Heritage Service.
Thanks to support from Better Belfast Landfill Tax Credit Scheme, a series of related events are giving young people the chance to learn about woodland and the precious wildlife it supports.
