Alpin II (Scottish Gaelic: Alpin mac Eochaid) was king of Dál Riada from 841 until 858.
He was the son of Eochaid and father of Kenneth I and Donald I who united the Kingdom of the Scots and the Picts to form Scotland.
Alpin was certainly dead by 841, when his son, Kenneth, took the kingship of Dalriada.

Little is known about Alpin other than that his father was Eochaid IV of Dalriada, who has been called in some acounts the King "of Scotland".
Alpin was certainly dead by 840, when his son, Kenneth, took the kingship of Dalriada.
