	Whose dream was Epcot?
		Epcot is shaped like an hourglass, with a giant globe at the entrance and a lake at the other end.
		Epcot was inspired by world's fairs and Disney's own creative executives, who were trying to build something other than the fairy-tale worlds they had become famous for, according to published accounts.
		Though he never visited Epcot, two of his children have been there, and have hired an Orlando law firm to investigate why Disney's theme park is so strikingly similar to their father's creation.

		As neat as it was for me to read about all the things at Epcot that used to be there but I never got to see, the sections that really fascinated me were the parts about the Epcot attractions that never came to fruition.
		EPCOT is undoubtedly full of cheese, but allowing oneself accept what could be argued is being forcefully fed, it is possible to really get lost in that amazingly optimistic spirit.
		I didn't hit Epcot until 96, so I was lucky enough to see Horizons and the original Imagination...although WoM was long gone and there were no longer "meet Dreamfinder" opportunities.

	Lacombe to Epcot
		We spent most of the day at Epcot, then took the monorail to the transit station, where we transfered to a bus to Downtown Disney.
		We re-arrived at Epcot in time for the fire works which, live, are amazing.
		Unfortunately, we returned too late to Epcot to get a close enough spot to get a good picture or two of the blazing globe and the pictures we got didn't serve it justice, so poor ones are here.
