		Thats Kamelot,,,that whole Album is pretty epic though,,,,which is not that much of a coincidence since its named "Epica."
		A study done at least a year and a half ago shows that 92% of teenagers have moved on to rap music.

	Metal Coven Webzine - Metal Reviews - Luca Turilli - Prophet of the Last Eclipse
		It was the simultaneous discovery and conquering of a new genre of metal, "symphonic epic Hollywood metal," as that band seems fond of referring to itself as.
		Power metal bands had touched upon classical and orchestral influences before, but never had anyone used a full orchestra of authentic classical and baroque instruments in concordance with heavy metal, not just utilizing two different types of music but integrating them into a conceptual musical whole.
		And, of course, there is the obligatory long epic song, "Prophet of the Last Eclipse." This closing track, almost twelve minutes long, covers the scope of the rest of the album, returning themes from the opening of the album and bringing the second chapter of the Virtual Odyssey to an end.

		While it is heavy metal, the mix of 70's heavy metal influences and the unique blend of semi-doom metal is quite different than most of the upbeat, galloping heavy metal bands from the early 80's.
		Metal Blade Records was the last to re-release this album in September of 1999, which is the copy I have.
		Part of that gloomy epic feel is due to the fantastic songwriting and guitar playing, but some of it must be credited to the raw, harshness of Tim Baker's vocals.

		On "Epic," however, I almost feel like Nedland is trying to sound like Nedland; keyboard riffs sound derivative at the same time as being impressive.

		There are hints of some other epic, atmospheric bands like Summoning or Orkrist, but really Dagorlad have a distinctive and unmistakable sound.

		Well, this was another proof of the acme the Greek underground metal scene undergoes, and the few that attended the concert were thrilled by the brilliant performances.
		Well, in the 5 songs they played the belief that a new great Greek epic metal band was born was confirmed.
		I wish those who were very harsh with the band due to their unlucky show in Belgium (which the band admits it was a bad one, however largely due to sound problems) were there to see the real possibilities of this band.

		I am a bit hesitant to describe them as Epic Doom-metal due to the many uptempo Heavy Metal parts; likewise they have too many Doom elements to label them as a pure Heavy Metal act.
		This entire release is dripping with epic story telling of battles and great warriors (truly in the tradition of for example Manowar).
