Epipactis Zinn, 1757, or Helleborine is a genus of (Any of numerous plants of the orchid family usually having flowers of unusual shapes and beautiful colors) orchid comprised of approximately 63 terrestrial species.
One species from Europe, Broad-leaved Helleborine (Epipactis helleborine), is invasive in (A continent (the third largest) in the western hemisphere connected to South America by the Isthmus of Panama) North America.
Epipactis gigantea is a species found in the American west, and into southern (A nation in northern North America; the French were the first Europeans to settle in mainland Canada) Canada, in wet areas and even streams.

 Epipactis helleborine
Epipactis helleborine is an orchid species native to Europe which has become naturalized in much of the northeastern United States and Canada, to the western Great Lakes region, and moving westward.
Epipactis helleborine grows from an underground rhizome, a foot or more below the soil surface.
The genus Epipactis contains about 35 species world-wide, with distribution throughout Europe, northern Africa, the Middle East, throughout Asia, and one species, Epipactis gigantea, which is native to the western United States.

The most robust group of plants was in deep shade on a seep.

Broad-Leaved Helleborine (Epipactis helleborine) is a fairly frequent species of park or demesne woodland, and also the few fragments of native oak woodland remaining in Northern Ireland.
This orchid flowers in the latter part of the summer, the flowers varying in colour from green to purple.
This species can probably persist in a non-flowering underground stage for many years without producing the flowering stems, by relying on the fungus in the rhizome to provide food from the soil.

I was in the shop in the garden today and noticed they had E. gigantea seeds on the seedrack with sowing instructions.
This may not be enough of an answer, but others like yourself are obviously interested in growing this plant.
