Though still very young, Phi Chi Epsilon plans to become a national fraternity.
The founding fathers of the Alpha Chapter in Potsdam formed Phi Chi Epsilon because they believed that there exists a bond that is even stronger than friendship - Brotherhood.

Chi Epsilon Pi is the Pennsylvania State University chapter for the national meteorology honor society founded in 1951 at the University of California at Los Angeles.
The purpose of the society is twofold: to serve as a means for awarding distinction to students who have high scholastic ability and promise of achievement in meteorology; and to promote student interest in advanced study of meteorology and related sciences.

The student must be nominated by a member of Chi Epsilon, endorsed by two Chi Epsilon faculty members, and elected by three-quarters of an election quorum.
Members of Chi Epsilon, by distinguished and preeminent accomplishment in civil engineering, and in outstanding furtherance of the object and purpose of Chi Epsilon, are eligible for elevation to national honor membership.

Larsen, secretary-treasurer, rested the burden and trials during the organization period, and it was due to the care and foresight used by these o fficers in the formulation of the early plans for initial organization and expansion that Chi Epsilon has been able to progress steadily.
The Second Conclave of the Chi Epsilon Fraternity was held at the University of Illinois at Champaign, Illinois, October 30, 1926.
