 Eraser (1996)
ERASER is a cool, better than expected action film with great special effects, two appealing leads, and a package full of car explosions and other assortments of surprises and tricks.
Sure, ERASER may not be a "classic" action film, but entertaining, it definitely is. A better plot though, can prove to be very conducive for a film of this caliber...
Yes, ERASER is a definite high testosterone thriller with state of the art effects and a wonderful sense of humor thanks to Arnold's crafty one-liners.

 Eraser
Luckily for Eraser, those action scenes are a hoot to watch.
From a couple of tremendous stunts, gadgetry that would put James Bond to shame, and a plethora of post mortem one-liners, Eraser is great fun to watch.
James Caan and James Coburn lend their weight to the film as Kruger's mentor and his boss, respectively, and Robert Pastrelli does lends a hearty dose of comic relief.

 Amazon.com: Eraser (Spanish) (1996) : Video
Eraser is a live-action cartoon, the kind of movie in which Arnold Schwarzenegger can survive nail bombs, hails of bullets, an attack by voracious alligators ("You're luggage," he says, after killing one of the beasts), and still emerge from the mayhem relatively intact.
Arnold plays an "eraser" from the Federal Witness Protection Program, so named because he can virtually erase the existence of anyone he's been assigned to protect.
The plot is relatively simple, in fact, you will be likely to pick up on the "secret" early on in the film.

Having always enjoyed the films of James Caan, such as The Godfather or Eraser, I was pleased to see that he was featured in Alien Nation.

Next is a Behind the Scenes moment featuring James Caan performing part of the shootout scene in the beginning of the film.

slant // magazine.com: DVD Review - The Triplets of Belleville
"The Cartoon According to Director Sylvain Chomet" is positively bizarre—a not so tongue-in-cheek Chomet waxes on three subjects (drawing, animation, and the film's triplets), but I can't get past the seriousness with which he treats his blue pencil with the eraser at the end.
Chomet opens the film with a vision of this past, a "newsreel" in sepia tones that captures the Triplets, singing and dancing celebrities from another generation, in their prime, perfectly aligned in voice and movement and grinning into the "camera" with maniac glee.
Not a single frame of Sylvain Chomet's retro aesthetic has been tampered with—the transfer is clean but every deliberately washed-out backdrop and moving image still suggests that the film was telegraphed from the '40s.

 PLF Previsualizes Fincher’s PanicRoom
Previsualization was originally developed to aid in planning complex visual effects, and PLF has employed the technique for that purpose on many films including Eraser, Starship Troopers and Fincher’s previous film Fight Club.
In an ambitious and unique application of previsualization, PLF produced 3D digital animatics representing nearly two-thirds of David Fincher’s film, allowing the director to design much of the film’s action and determine, in exacting detail, how it would be produced—before the production began.
In all, PLF produced nearly two hours of animation, from which Fincher and editor Angus Wall edited some 30 minutes of previsualized film.

The 6th Day - a Movie Review of The Phantom Tollbooth
In fact, the only surprise I had while watching The 6th Day was when the PG-13 rating appeared at the end of the film.
Total Recall, Eraser, End of Days, and the Terminator flicks all fall into that general pattern, as does his latest movie, The 6th Day.
The opening credit sequence invokes the book of Genesis, no less, and then alerts us that the film takes place "in the near future, SOONER THAN YOU THINK." This and the discussions Arnold has with his clone are awkward at best and fatuously humorous at worst.

Seven's titles were touted as short films in their own right-not merely a "design solution" but a metaphorical representation of the film as a whole.
