Eric Fingerhut was re-elected on November 5, 2002, to represent Ohio’s 25th Senate District, which is located in the eastern half of Cuyahoga County.
Eric Fingerhut previously served in the Ohio Senate from 1991-92 and in the United States House of Representatives from 1993-94.  In 2004, Fingerhut was the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate and received more than 1.9 million votes in the November general election.
Senator Fingerhut currently teaches religious school at his synagogue and is a frequent lecturer on public policy at area schools and civic organizations.  He resides in Shaker Heights with his wife, Amy, and their 2-year-old son Sam.
