After leaving The Dandy Warhols, Hedford drummed for the power-pop trio Magic Fingers, which also featured Matt Hollywood (Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Out Crowd) on bass and lead vocals and Michael "Spike" Keating (Swoon 23, touring member of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) on guitar.

In Music We Trust - Telephone: EP
Former Dandy Warhols drummer, Eric Hedford (also known as DJ Aquaman), steps up to the mic with his new band, Telephone, which also features former Crackerbash bassist/Satan's Pilgrims' guitarist Scott Fox, and drummer Paulie Pulvirenti (who has played with Elliott Smith, No. 2, and Jr.
Their debut, self-titled EP conjures up moments of the Brit-pop that made Dandy Warhols a sensation in Europe but, beyond that, Hedford steps away from his old band and paves his own path, delivering glowing, crashing new-wave that is both memorable and palatable, something that is hard to come by these days.
Still melodic and rocking, the band drops some of the sugar and sweetness for more rock and guitar noise, complimenting Hedford's keyboard, and the result is as stunning as their more bouncy stuff.

Often compared to the druggy psychedelic pop of the Velvet Underground, the Dandy Warhols do posses more than just a passing resemblance to Lou Reed and Co. at times, but elements of such modern rockers as Love and Rockets and Ride can be detected in their sound, as well.
Formed in Portland, OR, during 1994, the Dandy Warhols consist of members Courtney Taylor (vocals, guitar), Zia McCabe (keyboards), Peter Holmstrom (guitar), and Eric Hedford (drums), who signed on with the independent label Tim/Kerr shortly after their formation.
Disappointed but undeterred, the group reunited once more with the producer of their debut album, Tony Lash, and came up with Dandy Warhols Come Down, issued in 1997.
