 | | The Caravan Club’s chairman, Bob Black, recently announced the formation of a new All-Party Parliamentary Group for Caravanning, which has been initiated by David Amess, MP for Southend West, and Eric Illsley, MP for Barnsley Central. |
 | | The new group will have MPs and Lords as members and will meet to discuss issues affecting caravanners; and, says Mr Black, it will be an excellent way for the interests of the caravanning community to be represented in the corridors of power. |
 | | Mr Illsley said: “There are a number of keen caravanners in Parliament, and this all-party group will provide an effective forum for discussion on caravanning issues
it’s right that the importance of caravanning is better recognised now in Westminster.” |
