Eric Margolis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Margolis was born in New York City in the 1940's to Henry M. Margolis, a New York businessman, restaurant owner, theatrical producer and investor, and Nexhmie Zaimi, his Albanian born mother who was a journalist and author.
Margolis' mother, Nexhmie Zaimi, was also a journalist who spent a long time in the Middle East documenting the plight of the Palestinians during the 1950s[1].

Pakistan Facts - Eric Margolis: Apologist for Terror
Margolis’ piece, titled “Syria in the Sights?” was notable for his trademark America and Israel-bashing rhetoric (which frequently echoes the “reporting” of Al-Jazeera) as well as for his shameless Syrian apologia.
Margolis also berated the Israelis for not ceding Jerusalem—Israel’s rightful capital and Judaism’s spiritual center—to Arafat and his thugs and for not allowing the descendants of millions of Palestinian “refugees” (according to Margolis “1.1 million Palestinians were driven from their homes and land [by Israel]”) to flood the Jewish state.
Margolis’ Islamist-coddling mindset is further evidenced in the choice of people he nominated as “the century’s greatest heroes” in a January 2, 2000, Toronto Sun column.

Eric Margolis, Toronto Sun: Appeaser, Jew-hater or moron?
For instance, Margolis claims that he was opposed to the invasion of Iraq in 2002 because he knew that Iraq couldn’t possibly be a threat, even if they were in possession of WMDs, as they did not have the capability to deliver them.
Margolis also posited that the Mullahs in Iran were from 5-10 years away from perfecting nuclear weapons, so there was no need for the world to get its knickers in a knot.
Margolis rationalizes that if Iran is really developing nuclear weapons it is for reasons of "national prestige and self-defense", because Israel and the evil Jews have an estimated 200 nuclear weapons ready to go.

Veteran foreign corespondent Eric Margolis, who writes for the Toronto Sun, has created a tiny masterpiece that weaves together the assorted, lucid story lines he tells of all the countries involved.
Nevertheless, Margolis does an outstanding job illustrating the insane complexity of the situation, and he even gives the beginning reader a good primer on the Far Eastern conflicts which will in the coming years become great concerns to world stability.
Margolis' assertions are plain and his reasoning is above board, making him a rarity, a straight-shooting foreign correspondent writing in an age of sideways glances, innuendo and prose designed to keep the reader asleep.

In "Core Readings," Margolis and Laurence performed the admirable job of keeping us on this task by assembling writings and criticisms of five theories of concepts: Classical, Prototype, Theory-Theory, Neoclassical, and Conceptual Atomism.
What emerges from this assembly is an identification of the core questions that any theory of concepts must address.
