Pierpoint's first Trek role was on Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1993.
Pierpoint has had two roles in Star Trek: Enterprise: he played Shiraht in "Rogue Planet" and Harris in "Affliction", "Divergence", "Demons" and "Terra Prime".

Eric Pierpoint began his career on stage in the 1970’s when he received an MFA at Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. He was exposed early to the D.C. political scene as he traveled around with his CBS newsman father, Robert Pierpoint, the senior White House Correspondent.
After putting his craft to the test in Washington for a few years, he moved to New York, where he went on to do theater, and then branching off into more television and film.
Pierpoint’s passion for travel has sent him around the globe to pursue his favorite hobby, scuba diving.
