Eric was married with Queen Catherine, daughter of Jarl Sune of Bjälbo and a heiress of the House of Sverker.

One that says that Eric XI of Sweden and Eric XII are the same person and another version says that Eric XII is Erik Magnusson.
Both Eric XIV and Charles IX took numbers influenced by the pseudohistorical work of Johannes Magnus, but I don't remember the details.
