 Erik Larsen - etnow.com profile
By this time Erik was ready for a change of direction, and although he continued to do the occasional lighting design for Svalengangen, he accepted the job.
It was here that Erik got his first taste of things to come: Gobo Lighting was selling Arri control systems into Danish theatres, doing very well with what eventually became “the real thing” when ETC took back the distribution of its products from Arri, to sell the systems under the ETC brand name.
Erik lives in Aarhus with his long suffering wife, who presumably has to get up at all hours to make him the coffee that keeps him going.

NEWSARAMA - STAYING THE COURSE: LARSEN ON SAVAGE DRAGON
Erik Larsen: I don't think anybody in the business is sitting there going, "Yeah, I'm getting as many readers as I should be." Like everybody else working in comics I'd like it if my book was selling better, but it's always gratifying to hear from fellow professionals that they're enjoying the book.
Larsen has been a pillar of consistancy throughout the years and Savage Dragon is always one of the most entertaining books on the rack, I love every issue and Im sure if more people picked it up they would as well.
Larsen's body of work, note the pun {but not in the way you're thinking of you sick, sick bastards}, I would like to say that a larger part of the decline in the book's sales is due to the fact that he changes the central character's surroundings so much.

DC FANZINE FEATURE: Plenty Of Fish In The Sea: An Interview With Erik Larsen
As of issue #50, Erik will be thrust into the spotlight, this time, at DC Comics when he takes over on Aquaman.
Erik will be starting the title with a brand new creative team, as Aquaman artist Jim Califiore, inker P.L. Palmiotti, and letterer Albert De Guzman will be leaving the title.
Erik is well known for his interesting characters and high energy on The Savage Dragon, and if he is able to convey that high energy to Aquaman, then the fans truly have nothing to fear.

Erik Larson referring to any artist with any sense of knowing what the hell he is talking about is like a blind person describing the Sistine Chapel Ceiling.
Larsen had been kind enough to point out exactly which picture he was looking at where the elbow was out of place, or the veins were inside the muscles.

When the rediculousness of his claim was put to him and the fact that Larsen denied it and the possibility that the 'person he met' had possibly duped him, Byrne stated categoriclly that he did not believe that to be the case.
I'm sure that Larsen would be happy to talk to who ever is doing the story and likewise I'm sure Byrne would love to help as he has nothing to hide and would appreciate either the Pulse or Newsarama establishing the truthful facts behind the hearsay and rumour once and for all.
It would be difficult for Erik to disprove as it would be time consuming as he would submit himself to drawing panels and the backgrounds would have to be compared to the ones in his books.

Erik's itch, however, to return to his own creations and start building his own books was coming to the fore.
Because of Larsen's real time policy on the book (each month between books is a month in the book) the book moves and it doesn't sit and ruminate on consequences of the actions and how it makes characters feel and why they will never do that again.
Before last year, Larsen was writing and drawing for both Marvel and DC, but his bout with pneumonia and its lingering aftermath have forced him to cut back those duties to his Savage Dragon work.

You say that the pitch of a complex tone with F0 100 Hz is perceived faster than the pitch of a pure tone with F0 100 Hz, and explain it by a smaller cochlear latency for the higher harmonics of the complex tone.
My conclusion is that a latency difference between pitch perception of pure tones vs complex tones probably says nothing about the mechanism of pitch coding, and the effect of traveling wave delays is probably small.
