Erith ran out worthy winners by 3 goals to nil against a Sittingbourne side who were mostly second best on this damp and miserable September evening.
Erith's second goal was as disappointing as the first as Tom Berry, Neil Miller and Shane Davies all got into a tangle to allow a persistent Germaine Amnuel to nip in and send a crashing shot past Daley.
This goal put Erith well and truly in the driving seat and John Brunning had a shot in the 84th minute which the hard working Paul Daley was forced to palm away.

Erith and Belvedere’s Ian Pulman had an effort saved by Kevin Fewell but the Brickies had a better chance when Lee Browning passed to Gooding however his shot was blocked.

Erith was a key centre for many of these barges due to it’s strategic location on the river and the local barge building and repair works here.

An Erith barge owner and skipper Rob is still remembered today and his barge named ‘Chance’ is the name of the barge in the mural, perhaps also a nice link to Erith’s new chances ahead.

That she both privileged women (spoke directly to the bride as opposed to the groom at this nuptial theatric) and she spoke many different languages on stage during an era when women were largely silent.
Or might it be hegemonic, a containment strategy—a woman’s nude body seen as titillating, thus reducing the idea of Woman to a sexual object during a time when women were first entering the profession of acting (a way to contain the threat of usurping the prerogative of the male actor?).
