Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger (August 12, 1887 – January 4, 1961), an Austrian physicist, achieved fame for his contributions to quantum mechanics, especially the Schrödinger equation, for which he won the Nobel Prize in 1933.

Stresemann was one of the outstanding ornithologists of the 20th century.

Nello stesso hanno, la sua prima pubblicazione scientifica "Ornithologische Monatsberichte." Viene invitato da Erwin Stresemann al Museo di Storia Naturale di Berlino.
Con l’incoraggiamento di Stresemann, Ernst Mayr lavorò come volontario al Museo di Berlin durante le vacanze universitarie.
Nel 1970 vinse la Medaglia Nazionale della Scienza (National Medal of Science), il più alto riconoscimento scientifico dato dal governo degli Stati Uniti; contribuì nel 1975, alla traduzione del capitolo "Materials for the history of American ornithology" dell’opera Ornithology from Aristotle to the Present di Erwin Stresemann.
